I've recently discovered I am an artist. I spent an evening with a group of about 20 women in a workshop with India Cruse-Griffin. I told her before we started that if anyone could bring out any tiny bit of artistic talent I had hidden deep inside me, I knew she could. Hearing her story was inspiring. Allowing myself to trust the experience of creating was relaxing. My "aha" for the night was that we are all artists...we just have to find the medium that allows what's inside to come out. My favorite quote from India, "Art is what happens to you."
